If you are reading this now, you are loved. By whom are you loved? By the very Presence that Reality is. By the very Presence that you are.
Are you present now?
Yes.
The absolute certainty of your Presence is the evidence that you are, by nature, that which is real; Reality itself.
The essential Substance of you is Reality. There is nothing else for you to be. Reality is the only Presence that is here, as the Substance of all existence.
Now, notice, in the intimacy of your experience, that there is no distance or separation between yourself and Reality. When you say 'I am', referring directly to the experience of where the 'I am' is, and when you say 'Reality', referring directly to the experience of where Reality is, you refer to the very same Presence that is 'here.' Both I and Reality are 'here.' This here is the I of Reality, the Reality of I.
Moreover, Reality is what you directly refer to when you say 'me', 'I', 'myself.' When you say 'I', or when you say anything at all, it is, in fact, Reality affirming its Presence.
There is only Reality, so Reality is the only one that can speak, and it can only speak to itself. There is only itself.
Something unreal or non-existent is not doing the speaking. Something unreal cannot speak. In fact, that which is unreal is not even 'something' to begin with, for 'something' unreal is at all times utterly non-existent. The only 'something', the only substantial Presence that really is, is Reality. And that is you, I, us.
Is it possible to resist Reality, to resist that which you are? No! You are already that. Reality, yourself, is already what it is. That which is itself cannot resist being itself.
You are one with yourself. In fact, you are not really 'one with' yourself. To suggest that you are 'one with' yourself subtly implies that you were, or could be, separate from yourself. This is simply not true! There are not two selves in you, that were once separate from one another and have now become one. You are now, and always have been, only one Self, only one Reality.
As this one Self, you are irresistibly yourself, for you are never not what you are. A resistance against yourself could only occur if it were possible for you to step outside of yourself or separate from yourself, and from that ulterior position initiate an interaction with yourself. Is such an experience possible?
Are you ever separate from yourself? Are you ever an other to yourself?
No. You cannot separate from yourself, and therefore, you cannot resist yourself. You are yourself. Reality is Reality. It cannot know or come in contact with a Substance other than itself. There is only Reality. There is only one Self here.
This experience of Reality being completely itself is unconditional love. We are, by nature, intrinsically, essentially love. We are completely being the Reality of our Self right now.
This absolute love is the experience of the absence of separation or otherness between our Self and our Self, between Reality and itself. That is what we really enjoy in our human experience of intimate relating. We love the dissolution of the belief or feeling of separation between us. This dissolution reveals the love that is already present as our shared Substance.
No relationship can create this love, in the same sense that two characters in a romcom movie do not have the power to create the screen out of which they are made. The screen precedes the appearance of the romcom movie. Love precedes the appearance of all relationships.
Whether we formulate it this way or not, the experience of true love in relationship is feeling our Self as one body, one Being, one Self loving itself.
True love is independent of relationship. Before the appearance of two people come into existence as a relationship, love is present, pristinely shining as the experience of simply being our one Self, the unlimited Presence of Reality. Love is never absent. It is the Substance of everything.
It is impossible to not love our Self, to not love Reality. Sure, we can imagine that we don’t love our Self, but what would that non-love be? Merely a thought of non-love. Does this thought have any power to veil our pure, essential self-love? Only if we imagine and believe it has that power. So then, from the imaginary point of view of that thought, it will seem that love is absent. Yet, even this thought is made of love. There is only love. That’s Reality!
Just be that love, knowingly. You already are, so no effort is required to know and be that.
This knowing alone will bless your whole life with love, effortlessly.
